Exciting news from ACE’s Education Initiative
ACE celebrates the release of the national A2J Education Initiative (A2JEI) report, Building the A2J Lawyer: Access to Justice Competencies and Educational Pathways in Canada, and a free, online ‘Introduction to Access to Justice’ course. These resources, developed by A2JEI’s Legal Educator, Valerie Le Blanc, with Professor Jérémy Boulanger-Bonnelly at McGill University, map how Canadian law schools teach about access to justice, and provide a free online course for students and practitioners.
Launched in September 2025, the A2JEI is a national project led by BC ACE and McGill University’s Faculty of Law, with generous funding from the CBA Law for the Future Fund.
